Senior Account Director- Paid Digital Advertising (Freelance) 

 

First Position Digital is a high-performance paid digital advertising agency specializing in PPC, programmatic, and paid social campaigns for middle-market and enterprise brands across the U.S. Since 2020, we’ve delivered measurable growth for clients by combining deep channel expertise with data-driven strategy. Role Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for 3–5 key client accounts, building trusted, long-term relationships.

  • Lead strategic planning, campaign oversight, and performance storytelling across PPC, programmatic, and paid social channels.

  • Oversee and interpret campaign performance data to deliver actionable insights and clear recommendations for revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with internal channel specialists to ensure flawless execution and optimization across all platforms.

  • Lead all client-facing presentations, strategy sessions, and quarterly business reviews.

  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities that improve client outcomes and agency revenue.

  • Proactively resolve client challenges and anticipate needs before they arise.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in paid digital advertising with hands-on and strategic experience across PPC, programmatic, and paid social channels.

  • Proven track record of improving client revenue and ROI after assuming account management.

  • Experience managing brand-side relationships across multiple verticals, ideally in both B2B and B2C.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex performance data into compelling, client-friendly narratives.

  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Prior agency, brand-side, or ad tech company experience required.
